My Millennial Life picks up a Gold Medal for Documentary from the New York Festivals

On the heels of the CSA win for Best Documentary Program, My Millennial Life has picked up a Gold Medal for Documentary from the New York Festivals, Film & Television.

Thank you again, to the millennials who participated and shared their stories in the film as well as the production team members and funders, without whom we could not have made the film.

It’s been incredible to see the interest in the film, from its recent Cinema Politica screening in the small community of Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows, B.C. during student week, to its current inclusion, for the months of May and June, on Air Canada’s inflight entertainment.

It’s a documentary that seems to touch a wide audience as it follows the struggles of its five twenty-somethings trying to eke out a living wage and carve out a future.
