Online i-Doc Wins New Media Award

My Millennial Life continues to garner attention. We’ve recently been awarded the Best New Media award from the New Media Film Festival in Los Angeles for our interactive online documentary. If you haven’t checked it out yet, definitely be sure to do so. And of course, a big congratulations to our collaborators Helios Design Labs for their incredible work on the digital doc.

My Millennial Life is distributed in the U.S by Filmakers Library, an Alexander Street Press company. This is a platform where educators can stream the film for viewing in classroom settings. We’re very excited that the film will be shared with even more youth.

That’s all we have for this update…but stay tuned. A new project in is in the works!

Both millennials and boomers were interested in the film – one man gave a particularly moving testimony about how his millennial son had been going through a very tough year, and that he had learned a lot of new perspectives from the film. Many were interested in the social campaign side of the doc, too.” Continue reading “MY MILLENNIAL LIFE PLAYS AT RAINDANCE FILM FESTIVAL”
